Rubelite Tourmaline + Diamond Ring

The 2.77 carat rubellite tourmaline center in this ring is fine color old stock from Brazil. Some of the newer African tourmalines can show strong brown overtones, but this gem is a vivid slightly purplish red that holds true color in different lighting. The ring features delicate scrolls to accent the soft feminine look. The low prong settings and the Mardon shank are features that will grow on you because they're so comfortable to wear.
