Peach Sapphire Star Ring
Platinum Edwardian Diamond Dome Ring
This is an exquisite example of the Belle Epoque style. Beginning around 1903 with the invention of the oxy-acetylene torch, jewelers were able to make entire pieces from platinum, exploiting its excellent working qualities and strength. That gives us rings like this, light and delicate but larger in proportion, like a lace dome made of hand engraving and diamonds. This ring features an Old European cut center diamond weighing 1.18 carats with VVS2 clarity and K color. The surrounding stones weigh approximately 1.40 carats total, ranging from SI to VVS in clarity and near-colorless in color.
