Moonstone Intaglio + Sapphire Ring

The centerpiece of this ring is a vintage moonstone intaglio, rescued from a worn-out antique brooch. The hand-carved portait is set down into the stone, rather than raised up as in a cameo. It is surrounded by a total of 4.55 carats of blue sapphires, and accented by two decorative bows on the sides with 0.06 carats of diamonds.
