Gold-in-Quartz Ring

This ring features a 3.92 carat pure native gold-in-quartz, mined in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California. Gold-in-quartz is relatively rare, as most of the material is sent to the refiner to extract the gold. This piece is from a small family-run mine. We like the contrasts between the white quartz, the brown veining in the quartz and the bright yellow of the native gold. This ring is distinctive and unusual, a real conversation starter sure to draw attention and comment.
